RETURN POLICY
We want you playing, not frustrated.
If a WASTED pick doesn’t work for you, we’ll make it right. Here’s how.
The short version
- 30 days from delivery to request a return, exchange, or refund.
- Damaged on arrival? Send us a photo and we’ll replace it free.
- Just didn’t love it? Email us. We usually refund or swap without asking for the picks back.
- Jewelry (Aurum and Argentum)? See below. These work differently.
How to start a return
Email us at hello@always-wasted.com with:
- Your order number.
- What’s wrong (not right for your playing style, arrived damaged, wrong size, and so on).
- For damaged items, a photo.
We’ll reply within 1 to 2 business days and get you sorted.
Refund timing
Once a refund is approved, it posts back to your original payment method within 5 to 10 business days. The exact timing depends on your bank. Shopify fires the refund immediately, but some banks take a few days to post it.
Damaged or defective
If your order arrives damaged or a pick fails under normal use, send us a photo within 7 days of delivery and we’ll ship a replacement at no cost. You don’t need to send the damaged one back.
What we do with picks
Here’s the truth: mailing a pick back costs more than the pick. So in most cases we’ll just refund or ship a replacement without asking for the picks back. Keep them, give them to a friend, use them as drink coasters. Whatever works. We’d rather you be happy than send you to the post office.
Jewelry returns
Because the earrings are higher value, we do ask for these to come back before we refund:
- Item must be unused and in original packaging.
- You cover return shipping.
- Once we receive the returned jewelry, we’ll issue a full refund within 5 business days.
- The included full-size Haptic pick is yours to keep either way.
Exchanges
Want a different pick, a different size, or a different style? Email us. We’ll either:
- Refund the original order so you can reorder what you want, or
- Ship the new pick and refund or charge the difference.
Whichever is easier for you.
International returns
The same policies apply, but international customers cover return shipping costs on jewelry returns. For picks, the same deal as above applies. We usually refund or replace without asking for the product back.
Things we can’t refund
- Custom orders and artist collaborations (spelled out at the time of order).
- Wholesale orders (a separate wholesale return policy applies).
